Pōdex® Professional 3-Step Lifting Gel System Application Guide

Our 3-step system makes it easy to care for nails prone to curling and enhance their appearance. Whether you’re new to Pōdex® or simply want a smoother, more confident routine, we’ll guide you through how to prep, lift, and seal for a more even-looking curve and naturally beautiful nails.

Step 1 – PREP

Start with clean, dry nails. Use the Pōdex Edge filing pen with the "Remove" attachment to gently roughen the surface of the nail, then tidy the edges with the "Clean" attachment. Brush away all dust with the Pōdex Sweep dusting brush and apply a thin coat of PREP gel. Cure for 120 seconds under the Pōdex Glow UV/LED lamp.

Step 2 – LIFT

Apply 2 to 4 thin layers of LIFT gel, depending on nail curvature.

  • Mild curvature: 2 layers.
  • Moderate to Severe curvature: 3–4 layers for a stronger lift.

Cure each layer for 120 seconds under the Pōdex Glow UV/LED lamp. The surface may still feel slightly tacky after curing — this is normal.

Step 3 – SEAL

Finish with a thin coat of SEAL gel to lock in correction and cure for 120 seconds under the Pōdex Glow UV/LED lamp until the surface feels smooth and non-tacky. If slightly sticky, cure 30–60 seconds longer.

How To Remove

Gently file off the SEAL, LIFT, and PREP layers using the Pōdex Edge filing pen with the "Remove" attachment. Work evenly across the nail with light pressure at low-to-medium speed until the natural nail appears.

Switch to the "Clean" attachment to tidy up edges and smooth cuticles, then brush away all dust with the Pōdex Sweep dusting brush.

If you’re not reapplying Pōdex® right away, lightly buff the nail with "Buff" attachment for a natural, healthy shine. Finish by massaging in a few drops of cuticle oil or nail serum to rehydrate and protect the nail surface.

Additional layers build thickness and strength. Our application guide recommends:

  • 2 thin layers for mild curvature
  • 3 to 4 thin layers for more pronounced curvature

Cure each layer separately according to the product instructions.
