Interested in Pōdex® but would prefer someone else to apply it? You can purchase your own system and ask a nail or foot care professional to apply it for you.
This lets you choose the product and the person you feel comfortable seeing. Before ordering, share the product information and application guide with your chosen professional so they can assess suitability and confirm whether they offer the service.
What Is Pōdex®?
Pōdex® is a transparent 3-Step Nail Lifting Gel System for the cosmetic care of suitable curved, involuted and ingrown-prone nails.
The system includes three 6 ml bottles:
-
PREP prepares the nail surface for strong, even adhesion.
-
LIFT forms a strong, layered gel structure.
-
SEAL protects the gel layers and completes the clear finish.
Applied in thin layers and cured under a compatible UV/LED lamp, Pōdex® provides a discreet finish without separate wires, clips or bands.
Made in South Korea · TPO-free · Compatible with coloured polish
1. Speak to Your Professional Before Buying
Start with a nail technician, pedicurist, podiatrist or foot care professional who has the relevant experience and works within their professional scope.
Ask whether they are willing to assess your nails and apply a client-supplied UV/LED gel system. Some businesses only use products they supply themselves, and others may want to review the instructions before deciding.
You can send this message:
Hello, I’m interested in Pōdex®, a transparent 3-Step Nail Lifting Gel System for cosmetic care of curved nails. If it is suitable for my nails, would you be willing to apply a kit I purchase and bring to my appointment? I can send you the product information and application guide to review first. Please let me know your application and removal fees.
Sharing the details in advance gives your professional time to check the product, equipment requirements and appointment length.
2. Share the Product and Application Guide
Send both links before booking:
Your professional should review the complete preparation, layering, curing and removal instructions. Experience with ordinary gel polish alone does not replace familiarity with the Pōdex® application process.
If you already wear a nail brace, receive treatment for an ingrown nail or have recently had nail surgery, ask your treating professional whether and when Pōdex® would be appropriate.
3. Choose Your Kit
Once your professional has agreed, you can purchase the complete Pōdex® gel system.
For professional application, first ask what equipment the practitioner already has. The gel system may be all you need to bring if they have compatible curing and preparation equipment. There is no need to purchase additional tools before checking.
The gel kit contains PREP, LIFT and SEAL. These are intended to work together, rather than replacing one step with an unrelated base or top coat.
Check delivery availability and timing for your location before confirming your appointment.
4. Bring Your Kit to the Appointment
Bring all three bottles in their original packaging, together with the instructions. Keep the kit unopened until the appointment if your professional requests this.
Before application, confirm:
-
Whether your nails are suitable.
-
The application fee and what it includes.
-
How removal and future appointments will be handled.
-
Whether you would like a clear finish or coloured polish.
-
How the kit should be stored between visits.
Purchasing the product does not include a professional application service. Your chosen practitioner sets their own fees and decides whether they can offer the service.
5. Plan for Ongoing Maintenance
Pōdex® is intended for repeat cosmetic nail care. Applications are typically reviewed every two to three weeks, following the product instructions and the condition of the nail and gel.
Arrange a maintenance plan with your professional, including removal and reapplication. Contact them sooner if you notice cracks, chipping or separation from the nail. Stop use if pain or irritation occurs.
With an agreed routine, you can return to someone who is familiar with your nails and your previous application.
When to Seek Medical Advice First
An ingrown-prone nail is not the same as an actively ingrown or infected nail.
If you have pain, swelling, bleeding, discharge, broken skin or suspected fungal infection, seek assessment from a qualified healthcare professional before cosmetic application. People with diabetes, poor circulation or reduced sensation should also seek medical advice first.
Pōdex® is intended for cosmetic nail care. It does not treat infection or replace medical treatment.
Your Product, Applied by a Professional You Choose
You do not have to apply Pōdex® yourself to include it in your nail care routine. Start by sharing the guide with your chosen professional. Once they confirm suitability and agree to the service, you can order your kit and bring it along.
